These hoops are 4.5mm straight Hefty Hoops with DF Hoop Lugs installed. These will open up the drum's sound a bit without having to deal with fragile vintage-style hoop clips. Plus, the edge of the hoop is thicker to keep your sticks from shredding. These hoops will take all the abuse you can throw at them!
