Finally! A tool specifically designed for trimming back the edges of drum wrap. When you use the DF Wrap Trimmer, you get a perfectly clean cut around the circumference of your shell. If you are wrapping a new drum, you can cut your edges before applying the wrap and avoid dealing with the wrap seam "bump". No filing, fudging, or fit problems. If you do rewrap or restoration work, this tool will glide right along the existing bearing edge without damaging it. The trimmer cuts back the wrap approximately 3/8" of an inch from the edge.

The DF Wrap Trimmer is easy to use. Just place the trimmer on the edge of the drum as shown in the pictures, and gently squeeze the lever as you go around the shell. It's a good idea to lightly score the circumference first before cutting through the wrap. Different types of wrap will require different pressure, but you'll quickly learn from the sound the cutting disc is making when the cut is complete.
