Use 800 grit discs for removing the scratches made by the flattening 600 grit paper. If your finish is already fairly flat with only minor orange peel, start with 800 and not 600 grit. 800 grit begins the process to a great gloss finish. This sandpaper is absolutely the finest you will find bar none. We have tried them all so trust us on this one.

Cheaper sanding paper has instrayin grit particles that leave scratches that are hard to get out, or are simply way too aggressive. Matador sandpaper has particles that are absolutely consistent in size for a perfect sanding job. This paper is made for wet sanding so it won't dissolve or break down. In fact, you can wash this paper, let it dry, and use it more.
