Use 600 grit discs for removing orange peel and flattening finishes. If your finish is relatively flat, don't use 600, but start with the 800 grit. This sandpaper is absolutely the finest you will find bar none. We have tried them all so trust us on this one.

Cheaper sanding paper has instrayin grit particles that leave scratches that are hard to get out, or are simply way too aggressive. Matador sandpaper has particles that are absolutely consistent in size for a perfect sanding job. This paper is made for wet sanding so it won't dissolve or break down. In fact, you can wash this paper, let it dry, and use it more.
