Mounting screw for TUBE LUGS only. This has a round head and can only be tightened with a phillips head screwdriver. Color is black. That said, we'll tell you a little secret. The regular MS11 can be used with tube lugs if you run a Metric 4mm (M4) x .7 pitch tap into the mounting threads of the tube lug. What we do is mount the tap into a cordless drill and set the clutch to its lowest setting. Dab a little oil on the end of the tap and rethread the tube lugs. Read on . . .

The majority of lugs use an M4 x .7 pitch thread. "Pitch" is the angle of the thread walls. The tube lugs we sell use an M4 x .75 pitch thread. This is a rarely used thread and we have no idea why this one is used. So, if you need to recut the mounting threads on a tube lug, all you are doing is shaving down the angle of the thread walls and not actually cutting over the existing threads. You are not losing any thread strength by doing this, and it might save you when you get in a bind for mounting screws. Nothing like having to hold up shipping a drum for a 15 cent part!
